Stuffed Turkey or Chicken Burgers

Serves 6


2 lbs ground turkey or chicken
2 pouches Savory Choice Chicken or Turkey Broth Concentrate
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 teaspoons Fresh herbs (parsley or sage)
6 oz feta or firm goat cheese


Mix the meat with the Savory Choice Broth Concentrate, oil and herbs, and set aside in fridge to firm up a bit.

Slice the cheese into 6 portions which will fit inside a 5 inch circle.

Form 12 thin 5-inch round patties of the meat mixture and place on a baking sheet.

Top 6 meat patties with cheese, leaving a 1/2 inch border around the edge. Cover with remaining 6 patties, pressing slightly to seal edges. If necessary, pick up patties with clean hands and form a large ball with each then flatten again to get a good seal around the edges. If any cheese is visible, bury it with you finger and reseal.

Place on hot well-oiled grill and flip almost immediately to seal. Move them a bit on the grill to prevent sticking. Grill until thoroughly cooked.
