Rice Pilaf

Serves 4


2 tablespoons butter
1 medium onion, chopped
1 1/2 teaspoons fresh garlic, chopped
1 cup long- grain rice
1 3/4 cups water
2 pouches Savory Choice
2 teaspoons dried parsley


In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt butter and sauté onion until translucent and beginning to brown. Add garlic, rice, chicken broth concentrate and stir to coat. Add water and parsley. Reduce heat once the mixture begins to boil. Cover and cook on low for 20 minutes.
