Chicken In A Lettuce Wrap

Makes 6 to 8 wraps


2 tablespoons peanut oil
1 lb. ground chicken
1 teaspoon cornstarch
4 stalks green onions, chopped
1 pouch Savory Choice
1 can water chestnuts, drained and chopped
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons crushed fresh ginger
1 tablespoon oyster sauce
1 head butter lettuce; yielding 6-8 pieces cleaned and dried


In a wok or skillet, heat oil over medium high heat. Add chicken meat, stirring occasionally. Once browned, reduce heat and add the remaining 7 ingredients stirring to combine (reserving lettuce). Stir fry several more minutes until heated through.

To assemble: take one leaf at a time and spoon in the chicken filling in the center of the leaf and serve.
