Apple Cider Gravy

Makes about 2 cups


½ cup water
3 tablespoons flour
1 ¼ cups apple cider
2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
1 packet Savory Choice
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
½ teaspoon salt


In a small bowl, whisk ½ cup water and flour until smooth.

In a medium saucepan set over medium-high heat, combine the cider, vinegar, and Savory Choice Chicken Demi Glace. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally, for about 8 minutes, until the liquid is reduced by half. Add the butter and cook, stirring, until melted. Whisk in the flour mixture and cook, whisking continuously, for about 1 to 2 minutes more, until the gravy is thickened. Serve immediately.
