MEATBALL SOUP
2 lbs. ground beef
7 pouches Savory Choice Beef Broth Concentrate
10 C. water
1 t garlic powder
1 t onion powder
1 t Italian seasoning
1 t pepper
1 t cumin
1 egg
28 oz. can chopped tomatoes
1 head chopped green cabbage
4 carrots, chopped
1 onion, chopped
3 T ketchup
1/2 cup rice
PREPARATION
Meatballs
In a large bowl, mix meat, 1 pouch Savory Choice beef broth, 1/2 the chopped onion, 1 T ketchup and egg. Roll into 1" balls. Sauté in skillet until evenly browned.
Soup
In a large pot add 10 cups of water, remaining packets of beef broth, and remaining ingredients. Add meatballs. Simmer for 15 minutes then add cabbage. Cook until tender.
Serves 6.
