These are perfect for pasta dishes, Super bowl parties with BBQ Sauce or on their own.
1 lb ground beef lean
1 lb ground pork
1/2 lb soaked stale bread, crust removed and squeezed
3 eggs, beaten
3 pouches Savory Choice Beef Broth Concentrate
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
Black pepper to taste
1 t dried oregano
1 t dried basil
3 T Olive Oil
Mix all ingredients in a cold metal bowl. Work in bread mixture in very well. Roll meatballs loosely into 1 oz, about the size of a golf ball, portions.
Working in batches, over medium high heat, sauté 10 to 12 meatballs at a time in 1 T of the olive oil. Remove and place on a sheet pan lined with paper towels. Chill until needed.
These meatballs can frozen up to 3 months in the freezer. Thaw in your refrigerator until needed.
